WHEN IS CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT?
‘Standard’ check-in is 3:00 pm and check out is 11:00 am.
At Hove Estate we try our best to facilitate very flexible check in and check out times to suit your needs; although once there is a back-to-back booking we must return to our standard check in and check out requirements.
Check-in times/ Check out times aren’t just arbitrary; they serve important logistical and operational purposes. These set timings allow staff to ensure that properties are properly cleaned, maintained, and prepared for incoming guests.
WHY DO RATES FLUCTUATE?
Rate fluctuations are based on your dates, number of nights and number of persons. Rates listed on the website are a range from lowest to highest; longer stays and off season dates are subject to discounts. Please inquire within to receive a quote specific to your booking request.
WHEN IS CONSIDERED HIGH SEASON?
Dates leading up to and during all Public Holidays and the months of Summer.
HOW DO I PAY?
Payments are made via Bank deposits/ Online transfers to our Republic bank Account, we also accept debit card and credit card payments.
In Low Season a deposit of 1 night is required to secure your booking and remainder due 3 weeks prior to arrival.
In High Season a deposit of 2 nights is required to secure booking and remainder due 1 month prior to arrival.
WHAT IS OUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
(Cancellation policy below applies to bookings made after the 23rd of January 2024 and will be reflected on your rental agreement)
WHAT IS A SECURITY DEPOSIT?
This is to ensure guests treat the villas with care; a security deposit is requested with every booking and is refunded to your account within 2- 4 working days after your check out (providing the rental guidelines were met). If Damages/ losses occur the cost of that item is subtracted from the security deposit.
WHY ARE ONE NIGHT RENTALS NOT ACCEPTED?
Preparation of an Entire property for a 24hr stay does not coincide with competitive prices.
CAN I HAVE AN EVENT/ PARTY?
Events/ Parties are not allowed, properties are to be used for vacation purposes only and must not be used for functions or be occupied by more than the number of persons listed to stay. If you do plan to have visitors, please check with our office to be provided with the number of guests your specific rental location allows.
WHAT IS CONSIDERED ‘A NIGHT’?
From 3pm (check in) to the following day at 11 am (check out) is considered a night.
ARE CLEANING SERVICES INCLUDED?
For bookings longer then 5 days we offer housekeeping service, once per week. Any additional housekeeping is upon request and at an additional charge.
CAN I BOOK A CAR RENTAL THROUGH HOVE ESTATE?
YES! Hove Estate works closely with a car rental company simply to provide a more efficient, hassle free check in process.
